On October 6, 2010, at approximately 3:50 a.m., Northwest Patrol Officers responded to a hold up alarm at Modes Inc. located at 2629 Stemmons Freeway. A short time later, a witness also called 9-1-1 to report the businesses rear door pried open after seeing five males sitting inside a Chevy Impala just before the burglary.
Officers arrived and searched the building to confirm no more suspects were still inside and then contacted the store manager who provided officers with the surveillance video that has been placed on Youtube on this link:
Based on the video, it is believed at least four black male suspects entered the business and stole a large amount of jewelry. They were all wearing gloves and had their faces concealed. The burglary is documented on incident number 278257X.
