Dallas | State of the Hood address 2011(Save The Children)

It's crazy that the USA will go into other countries and demand democracy but will SUPPRESS IT AMONGST THE DESCENDANTS OF SLAVES(Egypt).

On Wednesday I went to speak before the Dallas City Council to give the "state of the hood" address and was not allowed to perform my civic duty.Of course the city of Dallas will argue that I was late, but several speakers were late and were allowed to speak, one walking into council chambers at the same time I did. Below I will discuss some of the key points that I was to present.

• Blacks are low performers in Dallas public schools according to the Dallas Morning News

During an interview with the Texas Tribune, Mayor Leppert stated, "The public schools, to be fair, they have made some improvements. But they've got to get a whole lot better." he says. "Education is the one piece that really sits out there."

• Mayor Leppert is the former CEO of Turner Construction, who on the December 16, was on the DISD board meeting to perform upgrades to L.G. Pinkston High and two other schools. Pinkston and at least one of the other schools were low performers. Does Leppert care about the condition of the minds of the students in those schools or whether the physical school is in good shape?

It's sad that we have a conglomerate of business owners who use the government function to further their cause, while the so called "niggers" continue to suffer and die in the streets of Dallas. As I was trying to state in my speech, the homicide numbers within Dallas proper are disparaging. Dallas, with a black population of nearly 400,000 and 88 homicides, and a total homicide count of 135, while Austin's total population was 750,000 and had 35 total homicides. Even Arlington with a total population of 400,000 and 10 total homicides. You make the call.

• Our focus on crime in Dallas should be community policing, because the robbers, drug dealers, and gang bangers roam the land with no regard for common human decency. "Community policing is a philosophy that promotes organizational strategies, which support the systematic use of partnerships and problem-solving techniques, to proactively address the immediate conditions that give rise to public safety issues such as crime, social disorder, and fear of crime."

The International Inland Port/Logistics hub will create in upwards of 30,000 entry level jobs and 30,000 upper management jobs, easing some of the economic development disparities divided by downtown(north/south). Of course politicians meddling in free enterprise has been the culprit of the delay in these jobs for southern Dallas.

• With the successful implementation of community policing, crime will decrease drastically and we can get more small business' to move into the southern sector generating more jobs, creating more economic development.(police can't control community, the community must control the community)

• We must find a community solution for all the abandoned properties within the southern sector. This brings a hamper own the budget, community safety, basically creating a MAJOR Quality of Life problem for the residents in the neighborhoods near these abandoned properties.(the government resources are limited, but the citizens resources are vast). For instance any neighborhood where these properties are located should have community cleanups, all you need is trash bags, lawn mowers, paint, plywood, nails, weed eaters, and volunteers just to name a few.

These are just a few issues that I was to address, but of course I never had the chance.Our communities are in desperate need of change and the change starts with ourselves, but also as much as Homeland Security, FBI, and other policing authorities read this blog, looking to see if I'm a terrorist, they should be checking on the corrupt politicians, robbers, drug dealers, and gang bangers who constantly terrorize our neighborhoods daily.(Dallas City Hall corruption scandal is still live and well).How come an audit didn't reveal that a police officer was stealing crime stoppers money? There is major corruption going on within Dallas county, the city of Dallas, Dallas Police and many other government organizations within Dallas, that need to be exploited in order to have TRANSPARENCY and ACCOUNTABILITY.Instead, they will continue to let FBI, CIA officials and DPD officers try an intimidate me to keep me QUIET, instead of hearing my plea for help in the BLACK community.
