2301 Macon Street shooting
May 29, 2010UPDATE: The Complainant in the below listed shooting has been identified as Hazel R. Kennard, B/F/3-18-68. Detectives are preparing an arrest warrant for her boyfriend/husband at this time.

Dallas Police Officers responded to a call at 2301 Macon Street regarding a shooting. Upon arrival officers found B/F40 who had been shot to death. According to witnesses a disturbance occurred last night between the complainant and her estranged boyfriend. The disturbance continued this morning when the complainant came to the location to pick up her belongings and was shot to death by her estranged boyfriend as she was attempting to leave in her vehicle. The estranged boyfriend fled the location and is at large. A minor disturbance occurred at the location due to some distraught family members. Information regarding the identity of the complainant will be released as soon as it becomes available from Homicide detectives. No further information at this time. This incident is documented in Dallas Police Report # 149042-X.
