Love (Hate) Field | Winter weather, major protests, and new port codes

As a major weather system(snow, wind,and ice) shutdown LOVE Field(hate), DFW International Airport, Dallas Area Rapid Transit rail, many school districts and business', Customs and Border Protection just sent out an email blast changing the "New Port Code for Dallas Love Field Effective Tuesday, February 1, 2011." Almost forgot about the cabbies shutting down the entrance here yesterday, in protest of the back of the bus syndrome being imposed on the small cab companies.

The airport code for Dallas Love Field is DAL.



DAL is a user-fee airport (UFA) and a port of entry (POE.) Port 65501 will process Entries and Entry Summaries for DAL.
